HARDTACK RECIPE
Ingredients:
2 cups flour
3/4 cups water
1 teaspoon salt (optional)
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F)
Mix flour and salt, then slowly add water until a stiff dough forms.
Roll dough to about 1/2 inch thick.
Cut into squares or rectangles.
Pierce each piece several times with a fork.
Bake for 30 minutes, flip, then bake another 30 minutes until completely dry and hard.
Turn off oven and let hardtack cool inside to fully dry.
