For those of you who are confused about the story the fox in the 1st chap is the prince of the foxes of the forest of whatever they’re called and he was supposed to breed with the snow fox girl so his clan raided the home of the wolpertingers to get that powder than would make the child of copper and the snow fox girl healthy and fertile so clovers (clover is the Rabbit from the 1st chap) mother told her to flee now back to the foxes copper the prince of the foxes didn’t want to breed with the snow fox so he gave the powder to his younger brother nugg (the fox who mau or may not be dead) and went off on his own and fell into a clovers burrow (that’s where 1st chapter starts) then 2nd chapter starts a little back in time to when his brother nugg went off with the powder to breed with the snow fox and take on the role of prince as copper told him then he was attacked by the fennec fox
Backstory I assume the fennec fox fryx was an outcast among his clan but he was love by another member of the clan freya so the 2 mated but freya’s mate a high ranking member of the clan caught them and banished fryx but freya went with him but freya was pregnant with fryx’s babies and died giving birth and the baby was too young to eat solid food it needed to feed off it’s mother so it was fated to perish but an owl offered to take the baby to someone who could save it someone in the snow covered lands (the bear queen I assume) but fryx was not allowed to follow now later on fryx heard that copper the prince the prince of the forest foxes was going to the snow covered lands to breed with the snow fox and that he was bringing a gift as well so he intercepted who he assumed to be copper (copper’s brother nugg)
And attacked him to take the gift and take the place of the prince so he could get into the snow covered lands so he could find his child and he makes it to the snow covered lands but the owls suspect him because he does not look like a fox of the forest so they send owls to look around for a fox of the forest and we see one of them at the end of chapter 1 that’s why copper the true fox prince disappeared
And that’s all that’s out as far as I know
