Alright, I need too ask this question, and I want a serious answer. What kind of person does this appeal to exactly? Is it just one of those things where you either have the kink or you don’t? This is one of the few authors where I feel genuinely disturbed by what I’m reading, and I just want some one to explain it to me. I think the disturbing part comes with the non happy ending’s and the humanity given to the protagonists.
