He used to sing me sweet melodies He played me, made me believe it was real love Sang me sweet melodies But the day he did me wrong The song couldn’t go on and on and on – Little Mix
How are u supposed understand if the word read is in past or present tense without reading the entire sentence?(English is my second language, so don’t hate please)
It mostly has to do with the context of the sentence. Like, for instance: I wouldn’t say twice that I would read (reed) it and then say in the same comment that I’d do it. Since I said it passes (passes being used in the present tense), that means I’ve looked at it, meaning that I read (red) it. Parenthesis used for pronunciation and further explaining.
(It takes very specific things for me to hate someone. Asking me to help them understand English isn’t one of those things. You’re fine, hope I helped!)
Just a note: “that’s sounds wrong” would be “that is sounds wrong”. Which isn’t quite how a sentence would be structured. It should be “that sounds wrong” or “that kinda sounds wrong”. But I know people born and raised who speak English and type worse than you, so you’re doing great!👍

Why is bro always putting peak song in comment sections?
Aww, you flatter me!🤭
You got a specific song you want me to do next, love?
Godzilla by blue oyster cult
I will proof listen to it. Then if it’s clear (meaning no slurs) I’ll do it once I’m done with the Mr. Grinch theme (it was requested a lot).
Proof read the lyrics, it passes. Give me maybe 2 days to finish the Grinch theme, and then I’ll do it.

Ohh thanks 🙏
Never heard of it, but it gives me stuff to look into later.
I’m from the US (can’t really speak or spell English, though. I need to get tested.)
